Day 240 — Interior Continuity

"Continuity becomes interior when the traditional transmission has been broken. The differentiated man then carries the same line as an unbroken interior process." — Julius Evola, Ride the Tiger

Interior continuity must now be maintained without any external transmission that once made continuity possible. The residual man continues the higher line from within even though the age offers no lineage and no shared memory of the higher type. Continuity remains real because it is rooted in the permanent measure, not in the temporary structures of a civilization.

Young men who still sense the need for continuity often look for residual lineages or residual groups that will carry the line for them. Most of what they find has already been reshaped by the horizontal forces of the age. The residual path does not wait for external carriers. It continues the line from the interior center that still perceives its authority.

This interior continuity is the residual form of the older traditional transmission that once ordered the higher life across generations. The man who keeps the line present already performs the residual act of continuity. That act does not require a collective horizon to remain real.

Maintain interior continuity. Do not wait for the age to restore transmissions capable of supporting the higher type. The residual act is to keep the permanent line effective in a world that has abolished every external reminder of it. That effectiveness is the continuity of the higher type under residual conditions.
