Day 225 — The Path That Continues

"The path remains even when every external landmark that once marked it has been erased by the cycle." — Julius Evola, Ride the Tiger

The residual path continues. Every external support has withdrawn. The residual man continues to walk according to the permanent measure even though the age offers no landmarks and no company. The path itself has not disappeared. Only the collective conditions that once made it visible have disappeared.

Young men who still sense the path often look for residual companions or residual maps that will make the walking easier. Most of what they find has already been adjusted to the requirements of the age. The residual path does not wait for companions or maps. It continues from the interior orientation that remains available.

This solitary continuation is the residual form of the older traditional path that once ordered the higher life of entire civilizations. The man who keeps walking already performs the residual duty. That duty does not become less real because it is no longer shared.

Continue on the residual path. Do not wait for the age to restore the landmarks that the cycle has already erased. The residual act is to keep the permanent measure present in every step. That presence is the continuity of the higher type under the conditions of the residual age.
