Most of what they find has already been shaped by the horizontal forces of the age. The residual path does not wait for such carriers. It continues the formation of the type from the interior center that remains available.
This interior continuity is the residual form of the older traditional transmission that once ordered the higher life across generations. The man who keeps forming the type already performs the residual act of continuity. That act does not require a collective horizon to remain real.
Continue the differentiated type. Do not wait for the age to restore conditions favorable to its collective existence. The residual act is to keep the permanent criteria effective in a world that has no place for them. That effectiveness is the only continuity that still belongs to the higher type.
