Most of those maps have already been redrawn by the horizontal forces that dominate the age. The residual path does not wait for external coordinates. It continues as the permanent direction from the interior pole that still holds the vertical measure.
This solitary sovereignty is the residual form of the older traditional capacity to orient an entire civilization. The man who continues to determine his direction from the center already performs the residual act. That act does not require a shared horizon to remain real.
Orient yourself. Do not wait for the age to restore conditions in which higher direction is publicly available. The residual act is to keep the permanent orientation decisive in every concrete movement. That decisiveness is the continuity of the higher type under residual conditions.
